A cute romantic comedy by Netflix.

Unlike most movies these days, the trailer for When We First Met accurately portrays the story. At the end of a “perfect” first date with the girl of his dreams, Noah finds himself trapped in the friend zone. He spends the next 3 years wondering what went wrong. On the day of his dream girl Avery’s wedding he gets drunk and returns to the place where it all started. Taking a seat in a nearby photo booth he soon finds himself transported back in time.

Adam wakes up 3 years in the past on the very day he met Avery. It doesn’t take him long to find out what happened, and he soon sets a plan in motion to right what went wrong. Needless to say his attempts at fixing the past do not go exactly as planned.

When We First Met is a cute romantic comedy with a great twist. It ends happily for all and makes for a great date night flick. The whole movie was well done, but I particularly enjoyed the last half. I liked where the movie took the characters and enjoyed the ending all around.

I definitely recommend watching When We First Met on Netflix. Netflix did a good job with this movie, and I look forward to seeing more like it in the future.
