Croods 2 was absolutely hilarious.
I rented The Croods: A New Age on Amazon just the other day. We made a family movie night out of it, and it was well worth the watch. The original Croods movie was also an instant classic in my house. With several big name actors voicing the characters, the movies have gotten a lot of publicity, but the story writing is really what makes them great.
Story Synopsis for The Croods: A New Age
The Croods are trying their best to survive in a pre-historic world. Eep and Guy, two of the main characters, have a funny and cute scene that shows them falling in love. But soon the whole family stumbles across a hidden paradise, that is inhabited by old family friends of Guy. The majority of the movie is set around this hidden paradise and the relationship between the two family clans.
With a few plot twists and plenty of hilarious moments, Dreamworks has hit it out of the park again. The story ends happily for everyone, and of course leaves room for more future Crood movies. I definitely recommend giving this one a watch, and look forward to seeing what’s next for the Croods.
