Summary & Thoughts:

I found Disney Infinity 3.0 to be tons of fun. Upon reviewing it though, I found myself feeling like I had written more about the general game, and less about some of the finer content. So I decided that each play set deserves its own review.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away…

(Spoilers Ahead) Twilight of the Republic is set in the prequel trilogy of the Star Wars movies. It doesn’t really follow the films, but instead takes you to places from them. Some of the boss fights and allies you meet along the way are also from the prequels. The unique story and quest lines span 4 planets, Geonosis, Coruscant, Tatooine, and Naboo. You will get to experience a duel with General Grievous, a trip to the Jedi Temple, a Podrace across Tatooine, and even a fight against Darth Maul. Aside from the main story though, which is awesome, there are also plenty of fun side quests to complete. Parts of the game even let you fly around space blasting enemy spaceships. Some missions make you fight hordes of enemies, while others simply have you jumping from platform to platform in a Super Mario like fashion. All of the quests and planets are well done. They also keep a good fun pace, and some of them can even be quite challenging.

The characters have comical twists to them. I found Jar Jar Binks to be my favorite character in the story. He was very well done. He looked and sounded correct, and he was actually quite funny. All of the planets were made beautifully, but Naboo really stood out. The ability to see the Theed waterfalls, and then travel around the palace was very cool.

I greatly enjoyed the Twilight of the Republic play set and would recommend it to anyone. Seasoned Star Wars fans, and young children can both have a good time playing through this adventure.
