Overall thoughts on Avatar: The Way of Water

Overall I enjoyed the movie Avatar: The Way of Water a whole lot. I almost like it more than the first film; it might be a tie. It was a fantastic adventure filled with family values, action packed sequences, and breathtaking scenery. The move itself is gorgeous, much like the original Avatar.

Despite coming in at over 3 hours, the film never felt slow or long. It was a smooth easy watch, which I will for sure watch again in the future. The acting was emotional and the story tugged at my heartstrings. There were some violent moments that make it not suitable for young children, but families with slightly older kids could probably make a family movie night out it. I consider Avatar: The Way of Water to be an easy recomendation, especially if you enjoyed the first Avatar movie.
