Summary & Thoughts:
This Avenger’s movie may be better than the first. Opening with an action scene of our favorite marvel heroes, this film never slows down. Despite being over two hours long, the movie felt like it flew by, and that’s not just because half the avengers can fly. I actually enjoyed this movie twice as much as I thought I would. Disney did a nice job of tying the movie into their already spun Marvel Universe (including the hit TV show: Agents of Shield).
Upon raiding the last known Hyrda base, the avengers recover the long sought after Chitauri Scepter. As Tony Stark studies the secrets of the scepter, he becomes increasingly paranoid about saving earth. Starks desire for peace leads him to accidently creating Ultron! Despite being created for peace, the artificially intelligent Ultron has other plans. The movie quickly unfolds into a battle between the Avengers and Ultron, with the world at stake! I won’t spoil anything else, but this movie is worth seeing. Go to the theater, rent it, or buy it, but definitely add it to the watch list.
With all of the action, violence, and suggestive themes, parents should be cautious of younger children watching. But if you liked any of the Avenger content thus far, be sure to check this one out.
