Returning to Arendelle in Frozen II

Frozen II was a very fun movie to watch. It may not be as iconic as the first film, but it was definitely nice to return to the world of Arendelle. The movie starts off with Anna and Elsa as young children. It was cool to see some more of their childhood, and we got a glimpse into the what life was like prior to events of the first Frozen movie.

This time around, Arendelle is in trouble. Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven and Kristoff set off on an adventure together. They venture into an enchanted forest that Anna and Elsa were told about as children. Their father and mother told them that the forest held many secrets and that it was sealed off by a magical fog long ago. When Elsa begins to hear a voice calling her, she sets out to discover why. The rest of the group insists on coming along, and so the adventure begins.

They arrive at the forest, only to get trapped inside. As they venture farther in, they meet natives, forest spirits and even a group of lost Arendelle guards. The plot thickens when they learn more about their grandfather and the reason that the forest has been closed off.

Frozen 2 had great character & relationship development.

I won’t go into any spoilers, but the movie kept a great pace. There was never a dull moment. The story of Frozen II was well written, fresh and fun. We even got to see Kristoff sing and dance a solo. I personally enjoyed Kristoff’s character, and the on-going development of his and Anna’s relationship. I think that Disney has done a good job with their love story.

It feels safe to say that we might see a Frozen 3 in the future. The Frozen franchise is very loved and has become an instant classic. I look forward to seeing more of Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven and especially Olaf.
