It’s actually more comedic than romantic.
Rebel Wilson is reason enough to go see this romantic comedy. Her portrayal of the main character Natalie is hilarious and very well done. Natalie is a young woman who is disenchanted with love. She does not believe that anyone could ever notice her, despite the fact that her best friend is constantly asking her out on dates. She fails to see how amazing her life actually is, and has to learn to love herself and her life. All of this changes though, when she smacks her head and wakes up in a romantic comedy.
A solid cast of characters make this movie a win.
Natalie (Rebel Wilson) and Josh (Adame Devine) are joined by Liam Hemsworth and Priyanka Chopra. This movie practically sold itself with such a funny and well known cast. Rebel Wilson is well known for her role as Fat Amy in the Pitch Perfect movies. Adam Devine plays in a lot of romantic comedies and Liam Hemsworth is… well he is Liam Hemsworth.

Isn’t it Romantic sends a positive message to all people.
Slapstick humor coupled with good acting make this movie re-watchable. One of the keys to a good romantic comedy, is re-watch-ability. I think I just made that word up, but it’s true. Well made romantic comedies sell for years to come. People buy them and watch them at home when they want to laugh, and feel warm and fuzzy all at the same time. Isn’t it Romantic definitely fits the role of a romantic comedy, emphasis on the comedy. It’s a cute tale of two people finding love.
Isn’t it Romantic also sends a positive message of self-love and confidence. It takes a light-hearted approach at tackling something that many people struggle with in their daily lives.
I recommend catching this movie in theaters or giving it a rent from a local Redbox.
