Summary & Thoughts:

“If something chases you, RUN!” Set 20 years after the original Jurassic Park, the theme park is finally open. With thousands of visitors every day, John Hammond’s dinosaur theme park dream has finally become a reality.

Claire Dearing, played by Bryce Howard, is in charge of making sure the park runs smoothly. But when her two nephews come to visit, nothing goes quite as planned. This film was exactly what I expected. Lots of dinosaurs, plenty of jump scenes, and a theme park gone wrong. It even managed to tease at Disney and SeaWorld a bit.

Seeing the park open and operational was pretty cool. The moments with the original soundtrack music were reminiscent, and the action was larger than life. I really enjoyed this movie, and will definitely be adding it to my collection when it becomes available. Jurassic World is a bit graphic and has several jump scenes, so I would recommend parents screening it before allowing younger children to view.
