You are the galaxies last hope. Assemble your team and set out on a grand space adventure to save the space bunnies! Fight the forces of anti-love as you puzzle your way through an animated 2D adventure.
This comical and entertaining game was free on Xbox Live this month. I was in the mood for something simple so I decided to give it a try. Hours later I still found myself sucked into this strange little world. Between the ridiculous dialogue and super bright colors, this game is hard to take seriously. The goal of each level is to save the space bunnies. Saving space bunnies unlock doors which allow you to progress.
Each level is a 2D maze of sorts. The player, or team of players, must run about swapping seats. There are 4 gun turrets, 1 engine control, 1 shield, 1 super weapon, and a map station. The players can move about the 2D spaceship freely switching stations. As hordes of enemies attack, the players must successfully pilot their ship to the end of each level. The game supports up to 4 players. If played single player, the player gets control of a second character which can be commanded to use different stations. Single player is a bit tougher than multiplayer, but both have their challenges.
The game had a great intro, an easy to follow story plot, and a speedy tutorial. There are a good variety of obstacles including laser guns, enemy spaceships, and security systems. The levels get more complex as you go, and increase steadily in difficulty.
This game surprised me, and I found it to be quite fun. It makes for a great couch co-op experience, and it definitely has a lot of content. Next time you’re in the mood for a casual and silly puzzle game check it out.
