Summary & Thoughts:

The Jungle Book is an absolutely outstanding film. This remake is an entertaining, and beautifully crafted  masterpiece. It’s rare to find a remake as good as an original, but this film manages to do it. The CGI animals look amazing. The story was kept true, and the voice acting was well chosen.

(Spoiler Warning) A young boy named Mowgli is raised by a pack of wolves. As he grows older, the local tiger named Shere Khan threatens his life, and forces him to leave the jungle. On his journey he receives aid from a friendly panther named Bagheera, and a goofy bear named Baloo.  Seeing that Mowgli is gone, Shere Khan threatens the wolf village. This leaves the three friends with no choice, but to return and face him.

I enjoyed the ending more than the cartoon predecessor. The movie was upbeat and well paced. I have nothing bad to say about this film. I greatly enjoyed it, and my wife did as well. I would watch it again, and perhaps even purchase it.
