Summary & Thoughts:

Warcraft was a highly anticipated film. It sold pretty decent everywhere, and especially well in China. The movie’s setting is based off the famous video game World of Warcraft. When the Orc home world is destroyed, the orcs find their way to the kingdom of Azeroth. Soon after stumbling into this new world they find themselves at war with humans. That’s all I’ll say for the plot, but I thought it was a pretty good story all around.

Everyone that I talked to enjoyed this film. After watching it myself, I found it to have a little too much dark magic for my taste. With that said though, I did enjoy it. The movie had some really cool moments. The acting was pretty solid, especially on the part of Travis Fimmel who played Anduin Lothar. I found his character to be comical and well written. I don’t really recall the music, so I can’t say much on that, but I thought that the Gryphon had a couple awesome scenes.

I would recommend this film for a good watch. Whether you buy it or rent it I’ll leave up to you. I also recommend watching a trailer for this movie to get a taste of what your in for.
