Summary & Thoughts:
I opted to not see this one in theaters, but after watching it I wish I had. It was actually better than the first movie. I liked how it explained the back story, and then quickly moved on to something new. Now You See Me 2 picks up where the first film left off, and follows the merry band of magicians on an all new adventure.
I liked to addition of a new female character. She was a comical and unique addition to the crew. I also enjoyed the plot twists surrounding Thaddeus Bradley, played by Morgan Freeman. This movie seemed more clear than the first. It was explained early on that the Four Horsemen were all about revealing corporate wrong doings. This movie was easier to follow, and all around more enjoyable.
The movie didn’t feel like two hours to me. I would even watch it again. I would also like to see a third installment in this franchise. I definitely recommend watching both films.
