Summary & Thoughts:
The Shredder is back, and this time he has new friends. With the aid of Baxter Stockman, he plans to take over the world. The Turtles must once again set aside their differences to take on new enemies. This film was a bit more unbelievable than the first. With additional mutants, aliens, and crazy stunts this movie felt more like a cartoon.
I have to say that this reincarnation of the Ninja Turtles has not been my favorite so far. I don’t particularly care for the design or the character portrayals. I have found both of these films to be fine one time viewings, but would not recommend purchasing them prior to seeing them. Don’t get me wrong, I have enjoyed the series so far, it just hasn’t been fulfilling my personal ideas of who the Ninja Turtles are.
Overall I found this movie worth the watch. I liked the action and the setting. If they make a third, I hope that they do something amazing with it.
