The Mandalorian – Season 2 Review

“This is the way.” – The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian TV Show is one of the best things to come out of Disney in recent years. It has received much love from Star Wars fans, and has quickly become a fan favorite among Disney+ viewers. The second season of “The Mandalorian” just wrapped up, and fans are already excited for more. It has been officially announced that at least 2 more seasons are currently being planned.

*Spoilers Ahead*

Season 2 Review of “The Mandalorian”

Season 2 of “The Mandalorian” consisted of 8 episodes. Viewers were introduced to both brand new and existing Star Wars characters. The famous Boba Fett appeared in multiple episodes. Ahsoka Tano & Bo-Katan Kryze from the cartoon TV series “Clone Wars” and “Rebels” both made appearances. We learned that Baby Yoda’s name is actually Grogu, and that he trained in the Coruscant Jedi Temple during the Clone Wars Era. This latest season had many awesome surprises, all leading to the epic appearance of Luke Skywalker himself in the season finale.

Every single episode of “The Mandalorian” was amazing. I personally awaited every Friday with excitement, to see what would happen next. It’s not even cliff hangars or surprises that keeps me so engaged. It is the overall quality of the show that makes it so great. Every episode feels hand-crafted and made with love. The team behind the show is really hitting a home-run as far as I’m concerned.

I have been particularly enjoying all of the book, comic and video game tie-ins that have been happening. “The Mandalorian” is bringing together multiple facets of the Star Wars Universe, and really interweaving them in a way that has not been done before. I definitely think that the show will have a long and successful future.
