In the big blue world…
The Seas with Nemo & Friends, better known as “The Finding Nemo Ride” at Epcot came into existence in 2006. Prior to becoming what it is today, it was called “Living with the Seas” and featured a short movie for guests to watch. The giant saltwater aquarium has remained unchanged for the most part. It was there prior to the area being renovated, and remains there today.
It’s one shell of a ride.
Sorry for the Dad joke, but this ride places guests into giant seashells, much like the Little Mermaid attraction at Magic Kingdom. Unlike other rides, the shells on this ride do not rotate. They remain in a forward facing position throughout the ride.
The story of this ride features Nemo getting lost once again. This time he seems to be hiding. Marlin and Dori set out to find Nemo and guests are taken through many of the films most iconic moments.

The aquarium is just as good as the ride itself.
Guests can choose to skip the ride and just walk through the aquarium. There are some interactive games located in a play area for kids. Other than that, it is basically a giant Sea World like aquarium.
There are a variety of sharks, fish and other sea creatures to look at. They even have some smaller animals like Sea Horses and Starfish.
I recommend giving this ride a go on your next visit to Epcot. It’s great for children of all ages. It tends to have a shorter wait time, is family friendly and wheelchair accessible.
